    • The Finance Department has had continued issues, including incorrectly issuing rebate checks.
    • A neighbor asked about changes in the billing address for processing checks; Amy said that the previous billing address is in Charlotte, but residents should use the new billing address in Philadelphia.
    • City to roll out technology that shows average speed on all city streets
    • A neighbor asked about sidewalks on the south side of Colorado Avenue missing a block. Amy said she would look into it.
    • A neighbor mentioned concerns with speed on South Meadow Street. Amy said we could ask the Department of Public Works to flip stop signs into a basket weave pattern. Amy reiterated that the Department of Public Works does not like all way stops.
    • An overtime police shift for Byrd Park and Texas Beach has been approved for this year, dependent on someone picking up that shift.
    • Amy recommended using RVA 311 with any concerns.
    • A neighbor asked about cameras in the neighborhood. Amy said that some neighbors want them and others don’t.

General Community Notes

    • The treasurer report will be posted on our website.
    • The Department of Public Utility’s Hampton Street project has been delayed as they had to re-solicit for bids.

A neighbor said no parking on the west side would be a nightmare for the neighbors living on the east side. The surveyis still open
