30 neighbors and guests were in attendance. Amy Robins provided a 5th District report:Playground update – a meeting is scheduled for June 3. The City has applied for Phase 3 of sidewalk construction inour neighborhood. Phase 1 is complete and Phase 2 is in de-sign. If neighbors are interested in planting a tree on their block,you can apply for a tree on the City’s website . The T exas Beach bridge repair project has been funded. The Virginia Home will be moving to Hanover County. (therewas discussion surrounding the building and the adjacentempty lot property across the street; the announcement wasrecent so no updates, just alerting the neighborhood)Reminder to use the 311 app to report issues in the neighbor-hood . Joy provided a Maymont and neighborhood update:Neighbors expressed concerns about a spotlight duringevents . Jazz Festival is coming this summer and there will be no park-ing signs for the event. A neighborhood yard sale will take place on June 1 at 8am at Sun-dial Park – all are welcome. The Amelia Street School Friends group is looking to reimaginethe space adjacent to the school. Contact information can be giv-en to anyone with ideas or interested in helping with this project. Future consideration: August 6 is National Night Out.
