Police Department Updates
Lieutenant Naoroz (Naroz): year-to-date 1 violent crime and 8 property crimes in the Maymont area (down from 12 prior year). Extra vigilance with shopping season approaching.
5th District and Maymont Updates
Parke Richeson: visits up 20% last year and another 20% this year; 15,000 visits last quarter; Mansion Christmas audio tours; third floor Jim Crow interactive orientation.
Betsy Carr: General Assembly session starts second Wednesday of January; two-month in-person session.
Amy Robins (for Stephanie Lynch, 5th District): lower residential speed limits; new sidewalks spring 2022; senior bags—volunteers needed; police/fire pay competitiveness.
Joy Rogers: Riverview Park playground vision.
