  • Lieutenant Naoroz: crime down vs. prior historically low year; package theft down; increase in violent crimes; two robberies nearby.

5th District and Maymont Updates

  • Amy Robins and Stephanie Lynch: sidewalks project starting late spring/early summer; bike survey coming (barriers helped speeds in Southside); May 24 City Council budget vote; Stephanie district meeting Thursday, May 20, 6pm (Zoom on Facebook).

  • Betsy Carr: General Assembly update; walking the neighborhood door-to-door soon.

  • Senator Ghazala Hashmi: possible late July/early August session on federal funds; schools a priority.

  • Colette McEachin (Commonwealth’s Attorney): “Restore, Rehabilitate and Reform Richmond.”
