Police Department Updates

  • Lieutenant David Naoroz: year-to-date 540 crimes vs. all-time low 622 for the full prior year; be careful with packages; lock car and house doors.

5th District and Maymont Updates

  • Delegate Betsy Carr: upcoming special General Assembly session (virtual).

  • New School Board representative Stephanie Rizzi: stephanierizzi4sb@gmail.com until taking office in January.

  • Benjamin Lamont: sidewalks—Phase 1 starting mid–late summer; Kansas (Texas to Hampton) and Meadow (New York to Dakota); dead trees on Kansas removed with project.

  • Stephanie Lynch: 130 senior bags distributed; infrastructure walk; use 311; new speeding fine Colorado/Harrison; budget session starts March; December 3 holiday fellowship (virtual).

General Community Notes

    • Treasurer’s report: $3,885.08; dues suspended in 2020, resume 2021.

    • Geese: 186 domestic geese relocated in October; 20 remain.

    • Joy Rogers: 398 houses and 1 church in official neighborhood boundaries.

    • Christmas bows: reimburse with receipt to Treasurer.

    • Playground update meeting December 9, 6pm.
